May this verse at, Revelation 21:3, 4 bring consolation to your family: “I heard a loud voice from the throne say: ‘Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.’” Please take comfort in this God given promise.

I am so sorry and shocked over Carol's unexpected death. She was my recipe pal. Almost every Sunday at church she brought recipes from her favorite magazine All Recipes. We emailed each other often, hers in that bright pink. I just finished reading her memoir, The Shelby Farm Years. Quite a childhood! I share your feeling of loss, such a gracious Southern lady.

Dear Jodi and family,
I am so sad about Carol and Uncle Bernard. I would be there except that I am in Italy. I am thinking about you and hoping you will find solace in your memories of two lovely people. Sympathy and warmest wishes,
Kay and husband Chris
